Very interesting behind the scenes account of life on THE HOBBIT 3D in which Peter Jackson and his crew explain and talk about the extra intricacies and challenges filming in 3D presents versus 2D filming.

  3. Fascinating. Re the higher intensity colour, they seem to suggest that was due to the Epic, but I haven’t heard those remarks from other Epic users, is that due to double Epics in a 3D rig, or 5K, or 48 fps? Also are there any exposure issues? Plus, is the workflow down to 2D affected?
    Can’t wait to see the films!
